Welcome to Cabinas Yemanya - Puerto Viejo, Limón

Jungle Beach, Just 150 mts from Beach About Our Cabins

Just in the jungle of the Caribbean foams which resonates on the beach. Palms twitch in the breeze and time clocks are extinguished. Yemanya Cabins is situated under the trees and coconuts. Here in a natural and simple way in the vernacular buildings, you can relax. Enjoy the big and small creatures like crabs, ants, birds, monkeys and sloths , they walk, fly and climb in this corner of the Caribbean shore of Costa Rica. The ability to walk to the farm Maracu, where you can look at the ancient trees more then 500 years old and feel the power of tropical rain forest, can be combined with walks on the beach, and swimming in one of the most important reef regions of the country.

Yemanya, the goddess of the sea and love binds us to the myth, the ability to feel close to the gods of nature. Four cabins are here, to ensure that you can relax and sleep comfortably. Here you will enjoy this eco-garden to make you feel the happiness that only give us the essence of nature.

On the other side of the road from the cabinas, a dense tropical forest can be explored. We organise hikes through this piece of paradise, for information look under forest finca. When you come back from this intensive walk, or other exercises, just dive into the sea, relax on the beach and enjoy the beautiful sunset. If you want to explore the surrounding area we also rent bikes.

Besides the beautiful and relaxing beach area, you can also go into the Talamanca mountains to explore the traditional lives of the BriBri indians. Several tour operators organise tours, we can provide some of the information regarding this tours. A hike from Manzanillo to Punta Mona should be considered as well, as it is not crowded and it is very special. In Manzanillo you can get a guide that will explain all about the local life, medicinal plants, and stories about the first habitants of this area.
